At the beginning of September , our Air Scout Group had an unforgettable adventure at Skreens Park, diving into a full day of outdoor fun, teamwork, and high-flying excitement!

From the moment we arrived, the energy was sky-high. The Scouts wasted no time getting stuck into a packed schedule of activities designed to challenge, inspire, and entertain. Whether it was climbingarcheryrifle shooting, or the ever-popular wheel chair assault course, every Scout had a chance to shine and push their limits.

One of the highlights of the day was the team-building crate stacking, where Scouts worked together to make the biggest tower of crates to climb up as they cheer each other on. It was a brilliant display of camaraderie and leadership—core values of the Air Scout spirit.

The Skreens Park staff were phenomenal, guiding us through each activity with enthusiasm and expertise. Their support helped create a safe and welcoming environment where everyone could thrive.

Of course, no Scout outing is complete without a bit of downtime. Lunch was a lively affair, with stories shared, laughter echoing through the trees, and plenty of snacks to refuel for the afternoon’s adventures.

As the sun began to set, we gathered. It was clear from the smiles (and a few tired yawns!) that the day had been a resounding success. New friendships were formed, skills were sharpened, and memories were made that will last a lifetime.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers, leaders, and Skreens Park staff who made this day possible. Your dedication and passion continue to lift our Scouts to new heights.

Until next time—keep soaring, Air Scouts!
